Posted by Thomas Lohninger

The flow of current news events supports todays topic about arabic hackerspaces. This interview is with Bassel Safadi and Jon Philips the two founders of the first Syrian Hackerspace/cultural center Aikilab. We talk about their projects, the space and the current situation in Syria, with a focus on the use of social media and censorship. This is only the first part of the interview, the other part will be published when Talking Anthropology comes up in the Signal Schedule in february.
